"We amalgamated. Why couldn’t we de-amalgamate?

There is a large movement of people in Ontario, including many Greater Sudbury citizens, who want out of super cities created by amalgamation,
says Ward 2 Councillor Claude Berthiaume.


“It’s not only the municipalities or the communities in the City of Greater Sudbury that are getting involved in this. There are 20 some communities
where they’re fighting for de-amalgamation,” he says.
